Delf Essay Competition 2025

We are pleased to launch this year’s Essay Competition held in memory of John RWD Jones QC, a superb barrister specialising in extradition, international law and human rights, who sadly passed away in April 2016.

The essay question is: What would be the impact on extradition if the UK withdrew from the European Convention on Human Rights?
