Please join us for our Annual Dinner on Friday 9 May 2025, this year to be held at Merchant Taylors Hall, 30 Threadneedle Street, London EC2R 8JB. Set in the heart of London, this stunning Grade II listed Main Hall with a long history of fine hospitality will provide the perfect setting for this fantastically popular event. With a drinks reception and formal dinner complete with keynote speaker, followed by music and mingling, the event promises to combine fantastic networking opportunities with a sparkling social occasion.

The ticket includes a drinks reception and three-course meal with wine, followed by a live band and a cash bar. Tables are for 10 people and cost £1,400; individual tickets will go on sale later and will cost £140 each for members and £170 each for non-members.
Full table tickets will go on sale on Tuesday 11 March 2025 at 10am
Individual places will go on sale on Tuesday 25 March 2025 at 10am.
As with previous years, we expect demand to exceed the spaces available so you will need to be quick off the draw!
In order to book your tickets, please follow these instructions:
- Now: check that your membership has been renewed for 2025. Non-members are welcome as guests on a table booking, but cannot themselves book a table. Please email the DELF Administratorif you are not sure whether you have paid your subs. Chambers administrators, clerks or other staff are welcome to book on behalf of DELF members.
- Tuesday 11 March 2025 at 10am: if you want a full table(s) (10 places), please email [email protected], specifying how many tables you would like to reserve. In the first instance, allocation will be limited to one table per firm/set, but please feel free to request more than one and we will try to accommodate your requests if there is availability. Emails received before 10am will not be considered. Tables will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and the decision of the DELF Committee will be final.
- Friday 14 March 2025:you will receive an email confirming whether your request has been successful and, if so, containing an invoice. This must be paid by close of business on Friday 21 March 2025, otherwise your reservation will be cancelled and your table offered to the next person on the waiting list. If you have not been successful, you will be added to the waiting list and may be allocated a table if others do not pay their invoice before the deadline.
- Friday 21 March 2025, close of business: deadline for payment of table ticket invoice, otherwise your reservation will be cancelled.
- Tuesday 25 March 2025 at 10am: For any individual tickets, please email [email protected], specifying how many seats you would like. Individual tickets are available for purchase by current DELF members only but can be purchased by DELF members for both members and non-members. Non-members are unable to purchase individual tickets themselves. Tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and the decision of the DELF Committee will be final.
- Wednesday 26 March 2025: you will receive an email confirming whether your request for individual tickets has been successful and, if so, the email will attach an invoice. This must be paid by close of business on Tuesday 1 April 2025, otherwise your reservation will be cancelled and your ticket offered to the next person on the waiting list. If you have not been successful, you will be added to the waiting list and may be allocated a ticket if others do not pay their invoice before the deadline.
- Tuesday 1 April 2025, close of business: deadline for payment of individual ticket invoice, otherwise your reservation will be cancelled.
- Friday 11 April 2025: The confirmed names, table host seating plans and dietary requirements for all guests must be provided so that dietary requirements can be given to the venue in good time.
- Friday 9 May 2025: get dressed up and enjoy the party!
