DELF is pleased to announce this year’s first introductory session, which is aimed at those who are new to extradition, as well as others wishing to update their knowledge. The event aims to provide an expert-led overview of the key challenges that commonly arise in extradition proceedings. From navigating the initial hearing to obtaining bail, arguing human rights challenges, and exploring parallel asylum issues, we will examine the pressure points practitioners face in practice.
We are pleased to confirm that the event will be chaired by Fiona Haddadeen (Kingsley Napley) and involve contributions from Oliver Oldman (Kingsley Napley), Chris Stevens (CJS Defence), Danielle Barden (5 St Andrew’s Hill) and Jonathan Swain (9BR Chambers).
DELF is grateful to Kingsley Napley for kindly hosting the event, which will take place at their head office at 20 Bonhill St, London, EC2A 4DN on Tuesday 17 March at 6pm. The session will take place in person to facilitate the exchange of information and networking opportunities.
This event is free for members, who will be given priority if the lecture is over-subscribed. The event is also open to non-members at a charge of £10 per ticket. Please email the DELF Administrator if you would like to attend or to join.
