On 3 August 2022, the offices of Withersworldwide kindly hosted DELF’s Educational Event targeted at those new to extradition:- ‘An Introduction to Extradition.’ This event was aimed at new extradition practitioners, to allow those building a practice in this area to gain an insight into the practicalities of dealing with Part 1 and 2 requests and High Court appeals. The event was open to both DELF members and non-members and there was a fantastic turn out. The panel consisted of the excellent Ben Joyes (9BR), Danielle Barden (5SAH), Fiona Haddadeen (Sonn Macmillan Walker) and Anthony Hanratty (Withersworldwide). The discussion was informative and provided an extremely valuable and accessible overview of the legal landscape in this area.
