On the 14 July 2016 DELF Committee members met with the Administrative Court Office lawyers to establish a link with the Administrative Court lawyers and to discuss issues faced by defence practitioners in High Court proceedings.
DELF is represented at the new Extradition Working Group examining whether a Northern Extradition Hub should be established.
In January 2016 the Chief Magistrate issued an ‘explanatory note on directions’ for extradition proceedings in Westminster Magistrates’ Court and in so doing invited consultation from practitioners.
